Arctic expeditions to Jan Mayen and Greenland – NEW PRICE – GREAT DEAL

Following the success of previous years we are running expeditions to arctic Greenland and the island of Jan Mayen this coming summer. Check out our blogs for stories and links to some of our friends’ photos and narratives:

I’m glad to be able to confirm that Johan Hustadnes from Norway will join us as an additional guide on our Jan Mayen trips. Johan used to live and work on the island and knows it inside and out. He will, together with our Runar Karlsson, guide people around the island and to the top of Mt. Beerenberg for those that are willing to take on that challenge.

Please note that we are no longer represented in any way by ECO Expeditions of Norway.

Like we mentioned in our last blog the global recession (and especially the Icelandic bank collapse) has led to a dramatic devaluation of the Icelandic krona. This means that Iceland is now a very cheap destination for most visitors. This has also led to cost increases for us but the overall balance enables us to lower the price for some of our trips.

So now we have lowered the price for our Greenland and Jan Mayen trips to 2450 EUR pr person. These are 10 day trips and like always the price includes the charter of the boat with all food, all group equipment on land such as tents, stoves, ropes etc. Kayaks with accessories, oilskins (gore-tex sailing jackets and pants), full guiding on land etc etc.

GREAT DEAL….
