Back in Greenland

Siggi is on a trip in Greenland with some hardy Icelanders that don´t let the remains of hurricane Ike change their plans. They left Isafjordur on Monday morning and made it to Mikis Fjord on the East coast about 30 hours later. The sailing went well and the weather in Greenland is much better than in Iceland where roads have flooded and trampolins and barbecues have got airborne! The group is going to use the next couple of days exploring the surroundings, go kayaking, fishing for trout and maybe scramble up some mountains.

The plan is to return to Isafjordur on Saturday depending on the forecast.
