Sif is our bigger vessel also built in Norway in 1986. She was totally refitted in 2016 with new seats, engines and bridge and she’s a very seaworthy boat that can take you to any destination comfortably.
Bjarmi is our smaller vessel built in 2016 in Norway. The boat has a license for 20 passengers and we use Bjarmi for charter trips and on our shorter legs.
Please contact us if you need to charter the boat for groups or don’t find a boat ride that suits your itinerary. The table indicates departure times FROM Ísafjörður.
If you are booking a return trip, you should be ready at the shore for the ride back about an hour after the boat departs Ísafjörður for most destinations. If coming back from Hornvík, it’s enough to be ready about two hours after the boat departs Ísafjörður.*
EXTRAS:
Please note that we charge for extra luggage. Normal luggage is considered to be one backpack per person, including camping gear, roughly around 20kg. If travelling for an extended period of time and travelling with for example: kayaking gear, heavy photography equipment etc, we charge ISK 5000 for each extra bag. Travelling with a dog is ISK 5000.

Our boats LEAVE Ísafjörður harbour on the times in the table above. We can not tell you the exact pickup time if you’re booking a return trip, because that depends on how many destinations the boat is going to on that particular day, weather conditions, amount of luggage etc. Please be at the docks 20 minutes before departure.
These prices are ONE WAY. The price is the same price for pick up or drop off. Feel free to ask our staff for pickup times from your designated destination.
If a boat is chartered it can wait for you at your destination or pick up location. Please email us for the charter prices to different locations.
Children up to 4 years old travel for free. 50% discount for children between 4 to 12 years old.
