For the ninth consecutive year, Iceland has been ranked the world’s most peaceful country according to the Global Peace Index, published by the Institute for Economics & Peace.

For those of us who call Iceland home, this recognition reflects many of the qualities that make our country such a special place to visit – a strong sense of community, a safe environment, breathtaking landscapes, and the freedom to explore.
