Successful Training Week: We’re ready!

At Borea Adventures, the foundation of every unforgettable experience is our dedicated team of guides. We’re excited to share that we’ve just wrapped up a successful and energising training week with both returning and newly hired guides—right here in the heart of the Westfjords.

This training week brought together seasoned professionals and fresh faces, all with a shared passion for the outdoors. Many of our new team members come to us with years of experience in guiding hiking and kayaking expeditions across rugged terrains and remote coastlines. Their expertise is a perfect match for the wild and beautiful environment we operate in, especially in Hornstrandir Nature Reserve, where many of our signature adventures take place.

Over the course of the week, our guides engaged in hands-on safety drills, environmental awareness sessions, and terrain-specific training designed to sharpen their skills for the unique challenges of the Westfjords. Whether it’s leading a multi-day hiking trek through Hornstrandir’s dramatic fjords and flower-filled valleys, or guiding sea kayaking expeditions along sheer cliffs teeming with seabirds, our team is ready to deliver safe, sustainable, and deeply memorable experiences.
