That´s the way it should be

The weather has been very stable in Iceland for the last two weeks with hardly any wind and constant blue skies. The temperature has drop down to two figures on some days but the lack of wind makes it very nice with crystal clear air and the colour  of the sky varies from light red in the morning, to turkish blue during the day. Very beautiful indeed. All the low pressure systems seem to travel north across the UK causing some problems for our friends. Life is good in Isafjordur; ice skating is possible on the lakes and ponds, the fjord is completely frozen and I think it could hold me (quite tempting to give it a go!) and skiing is very good.

This is how sub arctic Icelandic winter is supposed to be.

I hope you´re having a good time out there too.
